    - Young IT Practitioner of the Year

    VocaLink's Travers Powell has won the Young IT Practitioner of the Year at the prestigious British Computer Society IT industry awards.  Travers was awarded this honour for his technical architectural vision which resulted in the completion of the Access Programme.  Travers was recognised by the industry as a 'thought leader, and a deliverer of leading edge, best of breed infrastructure'

    - Winner

    VocaLink has won one of The Banker Magazine's major accolades in this year's Technology Awards 2007 - namely Architecture Project of the Year for the VocaLink Payment Platform.   This award recognises the  innovative application of technology.

    CIO 100 Connect Awards 2007
    - Winner

    VocaLink has won a CIO 100 Connect Award 2007 for the VocaLink Payment Platform.  Every year, the international CIO Magazine identifies and honours 100 organisations that have distinguished themselves in their use of IT. This year, the 20th annual CIO 100,  honoured 100 companies that exemplified an innovative enterprise that used IT to create business value.  These awards are bestowed only to a select group of outstanding organisations.&

    Financial Sector Technology Awards 2007
    - Winner

    The VocaLink payment platform has won a FST award for 'Best Straight-Through-Processing (STP) deployment' capability. The VocaLink SEPA-ready platform can handle 12,000 transactions per second using STP to speed up the payment cycle. VocaLink was also shortlisted for 'IT Team of the Year'.

    Financial Innovations awards 2006
    - Winner
    The new VocaLink payment platform scooped the ifs/Capgemini Financial Innovation award 2006 for the Most Innovative Application of Technology and also the highest awards accolade for Overall Excellence. The VocaLink Payment Platform was recognised as a modern, future-proof and groundbreaking system fundamental to the whole banking infrastructure. Richard Lowrie, Chairman of Judges called it 'a critical service for financial institutions and an enormous project to undertake whilst business continued as usual… it provides a platform for the future (known as SEPA) and as yet unknown.'
